Apollo 50th anniversary events across the UK
As the the UK's multi-award winning planetarium and immersive STEM workshop provider, we're excited to announce several jam-packed events across the UK.
Many of these events will be free for the public to enjoy - stepping back in time and re-live the moment Neil Armstrong landed on the Moon back in 1969
- Award winning films including brand new film CAPCOM GO! inside one of our planetariums
- The Planets re-make with modern music to stunning visuals of the planets
- VR experience, going back in time, walkin on the moon with Neil Armstrong
- Brand new immersive historicals, with live interactive games for families to enjoy
- Immersive Experiences have been chosen as one of the UK's leading immersive learning tech company, to showcase some of our technology at the UK's largest enterprise competition for schools and is backed by proud Brand Ambassador, Theo Paphitis
- In attendance will be over 1,600 challenge finalists and education leaders, plus VIPs and corporate guests, including representatives from MATs and Government initiatives such as The National Collaborative Outreach Programme and The Careers and Enterprise Company.
- Back by popular demand and four days long
- Three schools including: Westmindter Kingsway, Newham College and Sutton Grammar
- One local high street, attracting hundreds of new audiences from the local area
- Career talks inside our brand new career dome, hearing from celebrities how STEM affects their live

Cambridge University May Ball
As part of annual attendance to various colleges of the University of Cambridge, we were delighted to install a stunning pyschedelic installation, which kept the students entertained all night!
Lincoln Caslte VR installtions
Our highly acclaimed VR experiences will be installed for one month at the stunning Lincoln Castle. Inside two of its victorian prisons, audiences will go back in time, flying to the stars and exploring the universe.
This event is in support of the Apollo 50th anniversary

BIG BANG NEC, BIRMINGHAM
Back by popular demand, and this year with a new exhibit. Our huge 10m planetarium (largest in the world) will sit alongside our 5m rocket and 5m giant DRONE DOME.
More than 80,000 children expected to attend this year, and we can't wait to blow them away!

SHABBAT UK TOUR AWARDED TO IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES
Humbled to have been chosen out of all the UK planetaria to deliver this incredible event. Our fleet of planetariums will be pushed to the max as over 10 planetariums will travel from our UK bases every day visiting jewish schools around the country. By the end of the week, thousands of children will have been enthralled by our domes and bespoke show, made specifically for this incredible event.

Our team head over to Austria to establish the country's first mobile planetarium. Our highly acclaimed planetariums are considered to be the finest in the world, backed by legendary service and quality.
IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES WINS DINOSAUR DOME BID
Delighted to announce we have been chosen as the UK imemersive cinema of choice, which will feature our dome cinema heading up to Scotland for a couple of chilly nights!
This spectacular event, will feature music, lights, fire and stunning films - all with the award winning Jurrasic Park theme throughout

MAURITIUS PLANETARIUM BID
Our team will head to the stunning island of Mauritius to bid to install either a permanent or semi permanent planetarium, inside one of the countries top universities.
After the huge success in previous years with our igloo cinema, we will be installing our largest wonderland yet - an astronishing 800sqm of interactive winter fun. Included in this Sutton shopping centre installation will be:
- State of the art planetarium dual cinema
- Screenings of Frozen and The Snowman
- Igloo VR Dome
- Walk in snowglobe
- Chillout dome
- Igloo bar
- Cosmic Shop, featuring meteorites and ice-cream

WORLDSKILLS UK, Birmingham NEC
Our 'gold standard' of planetariums will feature at this years show, encourage students to take up careers within our sector. Unlike many STEM organisations, we are actively fund recruitment in the fields of STEM and look forward to bring on board more work experiences, and planetarium professionals in 2018
Back by popular demand, our igloo cinema returns to Northampton for another year of winter fun. Set within the Grosvenor shopping centre, this will be a totally free event, thanks to the generous support of Northampton Borough Council
First time in Winchester, our igloo wonderland exhibitions will install a small planetarium and grotto within the Brooks Shopping Centre
International Astronomer Show will see our planetarium return for a second year running
Immersive Experiences have been asked to support this superb event for a second year running. Alongside major telescope brand and astronomical suppliers, will feature one of our award winning planetariums both school and public to enjoy.
INTU DERBY Space Galactic Shopping Day
As the UK's most popular space themed shopping installations, we will host a week long event in Derby delivering free shows daily to hundreds of shoppers
WOMEN IN STEAM
Rockingway Motor Speedway will host an incredible STEAM themed fair in October 2018, boasting at least one our our award winning planetariums. Our theme for this event, is to showcase all the amazing work women scientists both in the UK and worldwide are doing. Time for more STEM organisations to showcase more GIRL POWER.
We're proud to be one of the few UK planetaria who actively encourage applications to join our firm from minorities and women alike. Its about employing individuals based on merit and nothing else!
Immersive Experiences as of October 2018 have at least 50% workforce which include women and/or those from minority backgrounds, and we hope other planetariums follow and encourage more diversity within their organisations.

We're back, bigger and better!
After the immense sucess of New Scientist Live 2017, which saw over 30,000 visitors attend including over 7,000 through our stand; we've decided to showcase the worlds largest mobile planetarium. Fully integrated with 360° 3D VR technology, and over 100 experiences.
New Scientist Live 2018, will not only see our stunning new planetarium, but also our incredibly educational and entertaining VR headsets; which include all our amazing experiences brought you in 360°, 2D, 3D and Fulldome. Alongside these new technologies will be our internationally acclaimed telescopes, meteorites and space food for everyone to enjoy.

Immersive Dome Experiences Ltd signs agreement to partner and project manage the Xuyi Astronomical Town, China
A town in eastern China announced plans to transform itself into the world's best astronomy-themed tourist site, as local government officials/representatives signed a deal with global organisations for its construction and development.
The local government has partnered with Immersive Dome Experiences Ltd UK, an international and multifaceted planetarium firm alongside supporting brand, the International Planetarium Society Inc to advance the project.
According to pictures provided by the site planners, "Xuyi IPS Starry Town" will have a 70-metre ring-shaped complex building called "The Sky Eye", and a tourist area with traditional Chinese architecture.

Star lovers can expect everything from high quality research grade observatories to the most creative educational and entertaining experiences. Our concepts and designs will capture the imagination of those who have a true passion for astronomy” Zee Dinally FRAS, CEO
During the signing ceremony, the planners stated that Xuyi Starry Town will become the best tourist site for global astronomy fans.
The initial investment is two billion yuan (more than 310 million US dollars), which will be used to build a site that can provide astronomy tours and education for 2.5 million tourists every year with at least 1 million students expected every year.
The construction of Xuyi Starry Town is planned to start later this year and to be completed by 2020.

New partnership with Thinktank Planetarium, Birmingham, UK
Established in 2005, Thinktank planetarium has seen over 1.1 million visitors from across the UK and world-wide, as is part of the UK's largest body of museums, known as Birmingham Museums Trust.
Immersive Experiences, the UK's highly acclaimed international planetarium firm, is currently working alongside this museum based planetarium to screen new fresh content, such as 'Arrows of Time - a Tribute to Dr Who' and is very much looking forward to bringing in new audiences and customers to the region and museum/planetarium
Immersive Experiences is set to have another record breaking year with over 200,000 audience engagements within 12 months

Kings Affair May Ball at Kings College Chapel Cambridge to see a night of psychedelic wonder
Immersive Experiences, will be delivering a night a musical spheres inside our pyschedelic cambridge planetarium dome.
Join us on Wednesday the 20th of June on the grounds of our iconic college for one last night in paradise. Brave the infernal depths of the ‘sweaty techno hellhole’ that is the Bunker (TCS, 2017) and lounge in beatific bliss in the empyrean acoustics of the Chapel. Expect a range of stellar acts and entertainments across our many stages, with something to suit any taste - and plenty to taste amongst our array of divine libations.
It’s a May Week event like no other: ditch the formal dress, grab the glue gun and sequins, and join 1,500 other guests partying in cosmic harmony to the Music of the Spheres...

As you explore your way through our new virtual world, bid farewell to what you thought you knew as you are plunged into a packed night of entertainment and music.
Across 2 stages we have an eclectic mix of music; the Main Stage in Pusey will host acts from rising stars to household names to legendary performers, whilst the second stage is guaranteed to complement to all music tastes. In regards to entertainment, expect everything to be out of the ordinary as we put on a night guaranteed to keep you on your toes.

BIG BANG West Midlands comes to Staffordshire University
We are sad to say goodbye to Coventry and the RICOH arena which has hosted the event for the last 5 years but we are exctied about the new partnership with Staffordshire University and the opportunities for a fresh approach that the new area provides.
The Big Bang West Midlands will host all of the wonderful STEM exhibitors, workshops and shows that characterised the event over the last few years, it will just reflect a slightly different Geographical area of the West Midlands.
As one of the longest standing supporters of The Big Bang Fairs, Immersive Experiences will showcase another two of its mobile planetariums, integrating some of our latest VR shows and STEM themed programs
Hyderi Islamic School adds a new dimension to their program
In conjunction with Norbury manor business and enterprise school Immersive Experiences is bringing an authentic show to the students, delivering our highly acclaimed Islamic Astronomy program. Delivered by a UK Astronomy with an Islamic heritage; students will receive an insight into their ancestory, with talks on the contributions to the fields of astronomy from the middle east.
Big Bang Fair NEC features the worlds largest mobile planetarium
Prepare yourselves for our biggest Big Bang Fair yet, with a trio of domes, including the stunning new 10m mobile planetarium. Featuring clips from Tim Peaks recent visit to the International Space Station (ISS), students will engage up close and personal with astronauts and scientists who make the impossible happen.
Over 11,000 student STEM engagements through our stand, making us one of the most sucessful exhibitors for this show
